Hi guys, In this video I am explaining how to remove DRM protection from eBooks you purchased or downloaded from Amazon without having Kindle reader device. This video will also show you how to convert the books to any format ( MOBI, PDF, EPUB, etc. ) you'd like. This video is an update to my previous video and is the easiest way to do it. The steps I am using in the video can be seen below:
STEP 1. Download applications: - Calibre (version doesn't matter) - https://calibre-ebook.com/download - DeDRM_tools_6.6.3.zip - https://github.com/apprenticeharper/D... Update 05/2020: Please note that many users advised a version of 1.17 for Kindle for PC works better. You might want to consider downloading that version instead. STEP 2. Install applications: - Calibre - Kindle for PC
STEP 3. Kindle for PC - go to Settings and make sure you uncheck the option for allowing the updates
STEP 4. Calibre - install DeDRM plugin. Don't input any special settings
STEP 5. Purchae a book on Amazon and send it to Kindle for PC
STEP 6. Locate .KFX file in default destination folder: C:\Users\[your_username]\Documents\My Kindle Content\
STEP 7. Drag and drop the above .KFX file into Calibre. It should be able to open it. STEP
8. Convert your book to any other format.
To Word Doc
To be able to highlight and underline the text in the pages which is required homework you will then need to go from PDF to Word.
This might seem like a lot of hassle but remember you will be using these materials the rest of your life to refresh your mind and spirit and to teach others.
